• My Galaxy project was truly original. No one else in the class did the project, as it was an independent project. It also didn’t use any pictures from Pixabay that were taken by other people, it only used the tools in Photoshop to create the design. The project is made only of my work.

• My most technically successful project was the comic portrait project. I learned how to use several new tools in photoshop such as the pen and brush tool, and the selection tools. I also learned how to use the Wacom tablet to create intricate details.

• My favorite project was the layered Image project. I loved how much freedom we had to take our own pictures and choose how to filter them and which images to layer. I created several images that I love and that are pleasing to look at. (This is example 1 out of 2)

• My Bitmoji project is successful in evoking humor. It it very comical to see two animated figures about to be hit by a 10 foot wave and nevertheless smiling as if nothing’s wrong.

• Ling helped me with my flower brush project. I had been putting the flowers in horizontal rows, which wasn’t very visually pleasing or creative. She suggested that I place the flowers around her body strategically and vary the brush size to create the illusion of depth. It made the image much for interesting to look at.

• My Constructed Image Project with floating astronauts was difficult because we were using so many new processes and tools. Before the project I had no idea what smart objects were, how to use layer masks or even how to save images.

Colors work well because they’re analagous

• My most visually successful project was my final project. The collection of pictures was very nice to look at because of how the colors transitioned from warm tones to dark tones as the viewers eyes go down the piece. The filters are also very interesting to look at, as they show how different filter can affect the same collage, and make it look like a completely new piece. (This is example 1 out of 3)
