The main character from Enemy Pie changed from the beginning of the story to the end because at the start he did not like his enemy, Jeremy Ross. He hated him because he wasn’t invited to his party on a trampoline, I know that because in the text it states “ He had a party on his trampoline, and I wasn’t invited. “ which caused him to make his enemy list on his Tree House.

In the beginning the boy wanted to make Jeremy feel bad. For example he asked his father to help him how to make Jeremy feel this way. The dad offered to make Enemy Pie so the boy could feed Jeremy. The boy kept asking his dad if he needed disgusting ingredients like weeds and earthworms to put into pie. The text says that the boy's dad did not need that but he told him to spend a day with Jeremy and also be nice to him.

At first the boy was nervous to ask Jeremy to play with him. Jeremy asked his mom and agreed to play together. Jeremy invited him to jump on a trampoline and both boys had a good time. This is important because the boy opposite to what he thought before was actually enjoying his enemy’s company.

The boy's dad invited Jeremy and his son to have Enemy pie he cooked. The text says the boy tried to tell his dad that Jeremy was no longer his enemy. The boy tried to alert Jeremy by shouting “Jeremy, don’t eat the pie”.  This is important because he tried to save his enemy from being hurt. Jeremy is now his good friend. Dad laughed at all of this. After all, they had a good time eating delicious pie together. Jeremy invited him to his trampoline in the morning. 

 In the end the boy was happy because he didn’t think of Jeremy as an enemy any more. He learned that you can not judge other people from what they are doing and how they look before you actually spend time with them and get to know them. 

The boy now has a new good friend. He no longer wants revenge on Jeremy.  By spending time together the boy understood that Jeremy is a good boy and they can be friends.

The main character from “Enemy Pie” by Derek Munson, changed from the beginning of the story to the end. The main character was not on good terms with Jeremy Ross since he moved into the neighborhood, this all changes when the main character gets to knows Jeremy Ross better. At the start, he was displeased with his enemy, Jeremy Ross. However, in the end, He was spent a whole day with his ex-enemy and was delighted and joyful with him.

At the beginning of the story, the main character was displeased with his enemy. In fact, the main character never even had an enemy list before Jeremy Ross moved into the neighborhood. The main character was displeased because he was not invited to Jeremy Ross’ trampoline party. This outraged him and led him to create an enemy list with Jeremy’s name on it which he stuck on his treehouse door, forbidding him to come in. Another reason why he was displeased was that Jeremy struck him out of the baseball game and laughed. This led the main character to seek help from his father by making an Enemy pie.

At the end of the story, the main character spent a whole day with his ex-enemy and was delighted and joyful with him. His father prepared a delicious pie for Jeremy to bring the two boys closer together. This helped the boys form a friendship together and not oppose each other. He joyful because he made a new friend that day and he got to jump on the trampoline which he wanted. “ After dessert, Jeremy rode his bike back home, but not before inviting me to play on his trampoline the next morning. He said he is going to teach me how to flip.” This shows that Jeremy and the main character are now friends with each other and don’t hate one another since they play and hang out with one another. 

In conclusion, you can see how the main character changed from the beginning to the end. In the beginning, he was displeased and did not get along with Jeremy. Finally, in the end, he shows that he formed a friendship between Jeremy and him being an enemy was all in the past. The father helped the two boys out and made sure enemy pie formulated their friendship, they both got to know each other better and ended up being friends.
