This group became the first African American soldiers to complete their training and enter Army Air Corps. Units that brought a sense of unique performance, like the Tuskegee Airmen or Black Panthers, were recognized for their heroic service. Many of these units experienced what most Americans experienced during the war. Except for the fact that many were there for backup or to deliver supplies. </div>]]></description>

At first many believed that African Americans weren't fit for war, but when they completed training and showed that they had similar/better skills that they could do more than back up. <br><br></div>]]></description>
