The kids learned how to navigate the metro while spending 12 hours a day touring the city. We were able to explore over 12 museums and historical sites in four days. Some of my favorite moments were seeing Dorothy's ruby red slippers, drooling over the Hope diamond, and visiting the Library of Congress where I snuck off to get a library card for a more hands-on experience.

Also spent a lot of time with my family, going on family vacations and day trips. We visited a lot of historical spots and had lots of smiles and laughs with each other.
