During the 1950s, young America discovered blue jeans and the industry exploded in the United States. Blue jeans went from being sold as solely a work and utility fabric to capturing the interests of the fashion-conscious public.

After reading about the sustainability development goals, these are the ones that I believe are important that I would like to feature in the denim group project.

They offer a wide range of high quality denim fabrics, with a high production capacity in dyeing and finishing.

To this end, Bossa implements a wide range of projects and initiatives some of which are outlined below:

Water pretreatment on site and full biological treatment,
Energy saving and recycling,
Conversion to natural gas to eliminate potentially harmful emissions,
Seperation and on-site utilization or off-site recycling of all solid waste,
Eco-friendly raw material, dyestuff and processing substances throughout the production cycle,
Certified by Oeko-Tex 100, Global Organic Textiles Standard(GOTS), Organic Exchange 100 & Blended, Global Recycle Standard (GRS), ISO 14001 (Global Cert).

1- Arrange collection

2- Leave bags outside your house by 8AM

3- A driver collects them

4- You are given instant cash in hand

5- Your clothes get exported for a second life in a less economically developed country

To reach to UN SDG goal 12, responsible consumption and production - the garments that my brand will produce will be made to order. They will only start production once the order has gone through the system. Yes, it will make the turnover time from placing the order to receiving the order longer but it battles the issue of over consumption.

The amount that people own has grown 60% between 2000 and 2014.
