It is a music box that plays the song Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven. This music box was made by my Dad for me when I was a little girl. I have kept it with me for over 30 years, its travelled from my childhood bedroom, to college, from apartments to other places all over. It was a gift that I enjoyed as a child, and still cherish. He made it for me after my parents were divorced and I wasn't seeing him a lot. It reminds me of him. Now, as a mother, my daughter likes to play with it and listen to the music. Or when there is something new that i want  me and sometimes it is right and sometimes not.This is my favorite object because when in bored i will just sit in my bed and ask questions to myself.And i can just have some time to my self .
