Portugal is known for its artisan sweets, such as soft eggs in Aveiro and pastel de nata in Belém. We have the tradition of eating cod, boiled potatoes and cabbage for christmas and as a dessert, King Cake, donut etc. We Aldo have popular parties and pilgrimages that are religiões festivals that are held in honor of saints in many portuguese locations.
