It is famous for the one of the wonders of the world, Taj Mahal. We started off from Delhi for a short weekend trip. It was a 4 hours’ drive to reach the city. Although I thought the city was only famous for the monument built in 16^th century by a Mughal emperor in the memory of her wife, I got to know the city is also famous for some Indian sweets. So, it was decided we’ll get some sweets for our friends and family on our way back. It was a summer day so we enjoyed the weather and started walking to the monument after checking-in the hotel. We all were so excited to see the monument that we even forgot to take rest for a while. Though it has been years but it fells the memory is still fresh. The monument was so beautifully made with white marble; I was amazed to see how craftsmen were so talented even in 4 centuries earlier. Everyone, even people from different cultures and countries round the world, only had praises for the beauty of the monument. This was one of the most memorable trip I’ve ever been a part of.
