more than 2 dozen states have introduced, 11 states enacted, bills or rules to restrict the teaching of history and contemporary social realities. This blows my mind because I don't understand why we wouldn't want to teach the real truth of what happened "back in the day."

In the video from the hidden curriculum task, a white boy and a person of color were interviewed to talk about their school system. The person of color mentioned that a lot of people at his school have to travel a good distance or take the subway to school, and they have to pay for that transportation. If education is supposed to be free, they shouldn't have to pay to get to their "free" education.

The white boys school had such nice amenities, and nice technology, while the person of colors school had a metal dector and old, run down equipment. I was shocked to hear that they had metaal detectors because the white boys school probably did not have metal detectors.
