I am a big fan of this topic as it is serious problem that it is so hard for poor communities to access healthier food options. I found it fascinating that there actually are more fast food restaurants in these neighborhoods. I also never really thought about the cons of gentrification which was definitely eye opening. Access to healthy food options isn’t an option more often than not. It’s very unfortunate as this presentation highlighted, I didn’t know that bodegas were that close to one another. It’s pretty alarming that this issue is contributing to a health crisis. What was interesting to me was that on the power point, an example of fast food was used to show how the poor urban community can only afford that because the prices for healthy foods are outrages. 
Gentrification has a huge impact in poor urban neighborhoods because residents are not only going to be impacted by the rising prices of food but also their shelter.
