How did I do this?

I worked with BREO resources while evaluating my abilities with Career Builder and learning from the Catch-Up video. Since I was absent from class, I maintained my connection through educational technology and my academic support counselor.

Reflection:

Discussions with colleagues taught me to improve my student awareness practices while I committed to taking active leadership in small group work. My main objective is to improve how people connect and speak with one another now.

How do I feel about it?

Self-reflection shows me better how well I perform and what I should improve. My self-reflection shows me which aspects require improvement yet leads me to want to get better at these things.

Example:

In group discussions I need to improve my response speed, so I am planning to practice better listening and speaking techniques.

A high level of SPaG skills leads to a better writing style both at school and at work.

How did I do this?

I reviewed materials from BREO by summarizing an imposter syndrome essay and taking a spelling exam that I scored 4 out of 5 on.

Reflection:

Even though summarizing was hard at first, I made progress with proper guidance. My writing abilities have improved this week, which makes me more certain about presenting my thoughts well.

Collaborative Challenge – Airline Challenge Task:

Completed my own research while assembling a mood board and studied Emirates Airlines customer base details.

Developed self-discipline and problem-solving skills.

How do I feel about it?

I am now better at writing because of my improved skills. When I started, I found it hard to simplify complicated information, yet my practice made me better at stating my ideas directly.

As I worked on the imposter syndrome essay, I included too many useless details before making my text easier to understand through revision.

You must convert text into your own words when composing research documents and documents dealing with intellectual property.

How did I do this?

I finished digital tasks assigned to me and learned from Career Builder resources while sharing my feedback in Padlet.

Reflection:

Verbal skills and group communication pose problems even though my written abilities have strengthened. I plan to:

Participate in more group discussions.

Practice speaking in smaller groups.

How do I feel about it?

I feel challenged but optimistic. Despite better writing skills, I discover that my speaking abilities require improvement.

Example:

While sharing my work about Padlet with others on Padlet proved more comfortable for me than actual spoken conversations. My experience proved I must improve my ability to speak about my thoughts.

The current political economy and technology evolution influence companies, so business leaders need this knowledge to make good choices.

I performed my research using Harvard referencing with Gibb’s Reflective Cycle.

Writing reflection tasks assisted my progress, but I still experience problems with speaking abilities. To improve, I’ll:
