Introduce the Lunchroom Supervisors in assembly and really give students a chance to thank them.

Alternate grades at lunch - odd grades eat first, even grades eat second, to spread out age groups on the yard.

Specific location, at recess, for those students that struggle with unstructured times to engage with activities that do not involve physical contact.

Give shout outs or awards for students who have been kind. We can do a "Caught you being kind" raffle. Even though it might start as extrinsic motivation, it might be a step towards it becoming intrinsic.

Practice collaborative activities as a class that can be used outside. Stella- Ella olla- , "ten", doggie - doggie doggie has a bone. OR bring them outside for DPA do any collaborative different tag games (come for me for ideas).

One year 2 K classes went outside at am recess and 2 at pm - in the front pen. They stayed inside the alternate recess. At recess the west pen was open for primary to play in as well.

40 minutes outside and 20 minutes inside at lunch. Used to be 1st lunch ate for first 20 and out for 40 and others went out for 40 and came in for last 20 (all out for 20 mins middle together)
