What do i think about this article:
Although this aticle brings a good news to the resident of United States but it also reflects on the bad terms of Mr Obama and the presidential candidates. Hence, it doesn't look good at all.
I feel that whoever gets the less vote does not mean that he/she isn't capable of leading the country. But Mr Obama talked about how Mr Donald Trump is the most ignorant president in our history. Be it wheater Mr Donald Trump or whoever is right or wrong, as a leader of the country, he should not be rude to the these presidential candidates as it might bring a bad impression to the others from other countries or it might hurt the supporters of Mr Trump. They should keep their personal feelings to themselves and still show their respect to the person they do not like in public.

1) I do support this event personally as you get to try different flavours and furthermore, 'Ben & Jerry' is a famous ice cream company. Thus, I feel like it's a one chance in a lifetime for us to enjoy a mini treat! Especially for the kids :)

2) By doing this event, it does not only brings us a chance to explore different flavours of ice cream but it also enables us to actually meet new people. Example; when you're in the 'Ben & Jerry' shop to buy some ice cream and you can meet someone else that loves the same flavour as you unexpectedly.

3) I really love ice cream personally so if I'm living in the US, I wouldn't mind spending a few bucks for a mini treat myself.

I feel that the murder case is very scary that will make almost everyone that stays in Bishan be scared of more murder cases.
I feel that the two women shouldnt have abuse the domestic helper as the police found out that there are bruises on the domestic helper's corpses. I feel sorry for the domestic helper as she through alot of pain and had to endure it before the two women ends her misery.

They felt that domestic helpers should not have been abused or hurt and must be taken care of because she worked for the two womens and serving them even though she was abused and tortured.

1) During the NUS Freshmen Orientation camp, most of the students attended the camp to make friends, but instead, they were pressured to take part in the inappropriate activities such as "burning bridges". Besides that, when they do the activities, most of the freshmen female students were uncomfortable when they took part.

2) Even they don't want to take part, a girl who we shall name her "Chloe" as she doesn't want to reveal her real name, said that every time she didn't take part, she was so scared that her Orientation group would write her off as prude and ostracise her. She also added that the camp's cheers and the chants were so senseless, with references of the male anatomy.

3) A group of girls wanted to leave, but the orientation group leader stopped them and told them to finish playing the game, and the orientation group leaders are seniors in NUS. Kim (not her real name) had been traumatised by the activities, and she didn't even know that they were touching, and for her, it's a scary experience.

What do I think about the article:

1) I'm so disgusted by those ideas of the activities! What in the world are they (seniors) thinking? The freshmen orientation camp is supposedly to be getting know with one another, NOT having sexualizing activities which was created by the seniors of NUS!

2) If I want to go to my future school, I don't want to go to NTU or NUS for future education. Right now, I reconsider my plans for the future. Because if even I do well in my GPA or stuff, I'm SURE that these two universities is NOT on my top list anymore. Even though the other people recommend this to me, I will turn away in disgust.

3) I wish NUS staff take action against that. Yes, I know that they speak up about that stuff, but they do not take any action such as suspension for the seniors in NUS. What do you feel when people just talk but doesn't do anything at all?

How does my parents feel about the article:

My mum didn't react anything from this article, except she rants a few stuff about this article. For example, "Why the schools do such stuff to the students?" and she tells me if I go to the orientations, she cautioned me if these makes me uncomfortable, I should report to the teacher or someone who is grown-up (whom is trusted, of course).
