-we planned to make a biodegradable plastic which cad decomposes naturally in the environment. This is achieved when microorganisms in the environment metabolize and break down the structure of biodegradable plastic bag. The end result is one which is less harmful to the environment than traditional plastics. In our project we planned to use starch and coconut husk as a based of the biodegradable plastic bag.

2. why
- regular plastics hold carbon. When they are disposed of and begin to decompose or when they are melted, that carbon is then released into the atmosphere. Biodegradable plastics do not release carbon, because no carbon is involved in the manufacturing process. Methane and other forms of pollutants could also be released from traditional plastic when they are recycled and burned. -Rain water harvesting is a technique of collection and storage of rainwater into natural reservoirs or tanks, or the infiltration of surface water into subsurface aquifers.  we planned to make rain water harvesting system around the campus/college to save the water or to decrease to water budget.

2. why
-in areas where water supply is problematic or water resources are scarce, rain harvesting is a good solution. It reduces the use of treated municipal water for uses such as landscaping, toilet flushing and laundry; reduces the need for well drilling; and reduces peak storm water volume.
Rainwater harvesting can provide clean water-supply for a small community. Especially when pipelines are too expensive to set up and one central well or pump cannot be used all around the year, a rainwater catchment system is a workable solution.

-  make a food waste container from a plastic bottle and place it next to the plant so it can act as a decompose to your organic garden. 

2. why
- food scrap items such as vegetable and fruit waste, meal leftovers, coffee grounds, tea bags, stale bread, grains, and general refrigerator spoilage are an everyday occurrence in most households.
