I was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, but I live in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. I'm interested in pursuing critical care because I like a challenge. 

My favorite things include sleeping, hiking (although I don't get to go very much), and spending time with my dog (see right). She is an 8-year-old Shetland Sheepdog named Penney. We rescued her in 2011. She is the love of my life and has made me realize I will probably have dogs for the rest of my life!
