We have learned many things about the Poston War Relocation Center, Arizona. The camp was very dry and dust got EVERYWHERE! People had to try to settle the dust by spraying water on the ground. The Poston Elementary School was built by the Japanese Americans themselves! They also had to build everything themselves. They had less privacy and very small rooms. The prisoners did have to stay relocated for 3 years. Even through the hard times the Japanese Americans still managed to live.
