The student would feel unmotivated. The negative feedback is quite defeating and the comment “were you not paying attention” was unnecessary.

However, the feedbacks are quite factual. It also depends on the relationship between the teacher and students. If the teacher is known to be strict, then some of the comments are useful feedback for the students.

Comments was very brief. Putting a tick on the statements is a good practise, gives students the feedback it is correct. However, we must be careful if the intention was to affirm the students, then tick might leave a wrong impression that the student is correct.

Looks insulting but putting it in a nicer way. It depends on the relationship with the student. The showing drill is a good way for students to work on and improve.



If we combine the comments of #1 and #3 may be a good style. Telling students what to look out yet confidence building.
