I will always remember how you came to see us (Noel, Gemma, and myself) in  Naguilian in 1974. We were relocated to finish schooling in Baguio because of the unrest in Mindanao.
Anyway, you have always been a source of comfort and inspiration. Growing up,  I remember you with  a collection of pictures of Lolo Pedro and Lolo Juana and story about your siblings… that must have planted a seed in me…which was nurtured by Tatang’s desire for family reunion! Such influence empowered me,  my partner Daff, and the late cousin Olan to plan and execute the first clan reunion. We honor your, our elders with  our reunion events as  a manifestation of humble solidarity and prayerful offering for a godly legacy! Auntie, I appreciate how pleased and grateful it made you.

looking back, let me share some striking moments (among others) that happened in the 70s (our growing-up years, aka 'the wonder years') of which you were a very 'key player'.. 

i fondly recall those trips we had to visit and celebrate with relatives  sa tawagan norte their annual may 8 fiestas! (may 8 pa ang pista by then!) hastang busuga jud namu (mga ESCADA children!) just imagine, kada hapit sa mga balay, ka-on to the max! 😎🤩  'leader of the band, or 'gang'' 😍🙂 sa pamista! 

also in the 70s, i will always cherish the 'privilege' of watching movies for free in the most 'prestigious' sinehan in town, kem theater! 🎥🎦 (this was made possible by the movie pass/es accorded to lolo pilo by kem management, monthly?) basta, magsabut na mi ni noel to watch 'next program' movies!  kasi, sa lobby ng kem there were walls to look for and see - "now showing, next program, and coming soon"... 🤩😍 

("do, pananghid na sa imung mama, kay pananghid pud ko kang mama, tan-aw ta unyang hapun")  🤩🤩 .... fpj, terence hill/bud spencer, dolphy/chiquito and all other movies... in the bag! 🙂
