Others give clues or definitions, and the student guesses the word.​

Set up pairs of chairs facing each other (like speed dating).​

Give students a topic or question (e.g., hobbies, weekend plans).​

They talk for 2–3 minutes, then rotate.​

Repeat with new topics and partners.​

Great for: Fluency and conversational skills.

Prepare cards with roles (e.g., waiter, tourist) and situations (e.g., lost in a city).​

Students draw one role and one situation at random.​

They act out the scene in pairs or small groups.​
