What plays a part in this part of Indian Caste culture? Religion, politics, topography, climate, or history? Perhaps even a combination.

From the 6 determinants of culture, i believe that the first one can be social structure. In India, the population is divided, and not everyone is treated equally. For example, anyone who has a last name of "Dalit," has a harsh life. They are known as the untouchables. Their women are sexually abused and their children cannot go to school. Also, they have a difficulty finding jobs. People consider them to be unclean and impure. In 1993, a residential school was built to help those students know more about equal rights since indians suffer from inequality. People treat them in a bad way because of their last name. They dont care if they are rich or poor, they just treat them as if they are nothing. This is a great example of social structure, how the indians are treated in a different way depending on their last names. The other one that can be related is education and language. Since people are not treated equally, they also do not get the same education. In fact, the school I mentioned had only 60 kids. People do not get the best education in India. Only the Brahmins are the ones who have a good education and have the best treatment.

The First Video
From the 6 determinants, I think that it's Social Structure, because in India they are divided into classes, for example the highest class is the Brahmins, and the worst class, that sometimes they don't consider it as a class, and they are called the untouchables or Dalit. The Dalits are not treated equally like any other person from the caste system, because they have the worst jobs, people from any other class cannot enter the house of a Dalit. Dalit can't attend schools or if they were to attend schools, they will suffer from the racism from people from their own country. This shows how India's Caste System is not a good thing for the country.

From the 6 determinants I think that the first one is social structure. Their social hierarchy is very clear as it was shown in the video. Starting from the upper cast to the untouchables. Untouchables are considered the lowest on the hierarchy they are very poor that they deficate in the street. Yet, that's how the upper class look at the untouchables that they touch blood, animals and many other things that they wouldn't like to touch. However, i still think that it's something cultural because even the upper class of India they are not that clean. Yet, if the upper class are not that clean than how do you acceot the untouchables which they are the pooerst of the poor to be clean? People treat the untouchables in an unacceptable way they treat the way they don't deserve to be treated. On other hand, their is one of the upperclass that helped the untouchables by creating a school in order fl the children to be educated since the untouchables are not allowed to educate their kids and their women are sexually abused. Yet, that takes us to education it can also be on of the determinants. Since, the upper class get the chance to be highly educated they go to school and university. But the untouchables and the lower class they don't get the chance to go to schooo even from primary school only. Even though, education is provided as a fundamental right to children between the ages of 6 and 14 in India, the untouchables don't get the chance to be educated.

From the 6 determinants of culture Social Structure is considered to be the first beacuse the republican indian democratic presidential population is divided. One of the best examples that can proof their diversity is how they have certain people who are called by certain names like "Dalit" people who are known to be "untouchable"! These people are known also for how unclean they are, in addition to how its very hard for them to find jobs due their reputation. This is the perfect example of a Social Structure, how people are treated beacuse of their reputation; last name. Moreover, another example that can be related to this topic is " Education and Language" the people who are treated differently beacuse of their reputation are also not having the same equal education. There was a school that was build to teach these people how to treat each other equally beacuse equality is hard in india. Upper class people are the only people here who get educated werl and treated well. We can draw a conclusion of how indians are well known and treated and receiving services such as education depending on their level or "last name" or other comparative aspects.

From the 6 determinants of culture, i think that social structure is the first one. The reason for this is that India is divided into different hierarchies. The untouchables are the poorest and the most critiscized among the country. They are very unclean due to that they live in very unclean conditions. Also they have a very bad reputation, which causes them not to find jobs or high education. I believe that the richest people of India are hypocrites. Some rich people are very unclean and the only difference between them and the untouchables is, money. The rich feces just like the poor, but the difference is, the untouchables do not have good conditions or money. On the other hand, one very good man tried to change how Indians think of the untouchables. He created a school that allowed the untouchables to join, but the school only had 60 people. This shows how India is divided into different social structures.

The method of separation and segregation between the Indian people is used severely. The untouchables are usually picked because they have inherited a specific job that is related to matter, which boosts the idea of seperating people. In addition to the social structure, there is a psychological barrier that is made by the society that implies the idea of segregation between the Indian people.

Social structure is on top of the determinants of culture in India for my opinion. Indians are not all equally treated due to the contrast in their religion. The Dalit are the ones who are treated unfairly, even though it's not in their hands to be born with that name. Physical appearance - they all look the same as they don't eat any kind of meat; specially cow meat, as it is a big part of their religions. Practicing yoga also makes their bodies very loose and a little weaker. They are all browned skin due to high temperature and the sun. India has a strong culture and that's what special about it. They never change the way they do it, even though they could change to be more of a touristic country, but they are not letting anyone to mess it up for them. Comparing to Egypt, if Egypt didn't move with technology, create new music themes, and change the old way Egyptians communicated, the culture would have stayed stronger. Tourists visit Egypt to see the OLD monuments and NOT the NEW areas. India is also facing a major problem which is the poop that is all around the country. People take a shit anywhere at anytime. "People prefer pooing in the open, instead in a box" ++ "More people have cell phones more than they have toilettes".

From the 6 determinants of culture, I think that the first one can be education and language because the Dalit are the ones who are poor and uneducated. The Dalit are treated unequally because of their name, this is definitely unfair because it is out of their hands and they cannot change their name. Social structure is another determinant of culture because in India they are divided into social classes according to their name, with the Brahmins the best people who are rich and educated. Then the Dalit are a special class outside of the social class triangle they are called "the untouchables". This is because they have no contact with anyone else, and they can't go to school nor work. Mahatmas Gandhi was part

From my point of view history plays a major role in this situation. From a long time, the thought of social structure has been implemented in many years. Till today the social hierarchy plays a major role in India. The rich people till today, monks and priests, seen as superior to all of the rest. The lower class, the Untouchables, are seen as the dirty class. As this was present over time and has not been changed, therefore history is what plays a major role in this situation
