Alam po namin na hindi madaling maging guro at lubos po akong nagpapasalamat sa pasensya na inyo pong binibigay sa amin bilang mga estudyante. Nakagagaan po ng loob na malaman na mayroong gagabay sa aming sa isang panibago na pagkakataon na aming raranasin sa buhay.

Filipino was one of my most dreaded subjects, and when I heard that a Filipino teacher was going to be my adviser, I thought it would be the end of me. But, Ma'am, you really won me over with your patience and understanding. I didn't like Filipino because I was so embarassed of my elementary mistakes, yet, in Ma'am Mengie's class, I don't feel afraid to make mistakes. I want to give Filipino another chance, I'm a Filipino and I'm proud of it. Thank you Ma'am Mengie, I really appreciate your effort and sincere care for your students.

Unang-una po sa lahat, nais ko po kayong batiin ng Happy Teacher’s Day!!!

First time ko lang po maging “the new student” noong nagsimula po ako ng SHS sa UST. Dahil po sa panibagong experience na ito, kinabahan po talaga ako sa first day of school po namin. Ngunit, gumaan po yung loob ko noong nalaman ko po kung gaano kabait at kasaya ng adviser namin. Hindi man po tayo pamilyar sa isa’t isa, nagkakaroon pa rin po ng atmosphere of familiarity at comfortability kapag kayo po ang nagtuturo at nakakausap po namin.

Dahil rin po sa inyo, nasimulan ko pong magustuhan ang asignaturang Filipino on a much deeper level po. May adjustment period man po, natutuwa pa rin po ako sa progreso na mayroon ako na ginagabayan ng inyong professional, and at the same time, warm way of teaching.

First of all, Happy Teacher’s Day po! I still remember how happy I was when I found out that you are our adviser kase po tuwing nakikita ko po sa orientations parang sobrang bait nyo, and I was not wrong. Even though online po ang set up, you never failed to comfort us and let us know that you are here for us. You always check up on us to see if we are still doing fine amidst all the piled up school works, and you do your best to lessen that burden. I just want you to know po that we appreciate all of the things that you did for us.

Starting in a new school wasn’t easy at all especially in our situation right now, but having an adviser like you made it more bearable and fun 🤣 You are the best adviser we could ever dream of to help us in starting our path here in UST.

Nais ko po magpasalamat sa iyong pagiging mabuting guro sa amin <3 Dahil bagong lipat po ako, natatakot po ako dahil hindi ko po alam kung ano ang magiging reaksyon ko sa bagong kapaligiran. Pero maraming salamat po Ma'am dahil ang aking karanasan bilang isang Tomasino ay kasiya-siya. Maraming salamat po dahil palagi niyo kaming kinakamusta at sinasabihan ng mga positive affirmation. Sa pagtatapos ng araw, kapag sobrang pagod na, at dun ko palang po mababasa ng maayos yung mga pinadala mo, natutuwa po ako ng sobra, nakakawala po ng pagod yung mga pinapadala niyo po. Bilang aming guro sa Filipino, maraming salamat dahil nagawa niyo pong kasiya-siya ang asignatura. Unang pasok palang po sa meeting kapag naka on na po mga camera, nakakahawa po yung ngiti niyo!
