The progressive era in general wasn't the best that has ever happened to the American people but it did help significantly with all the rules and regulations that are now used daily. It helped set up a wall for the producers and owners of many businesses. It helped the country get on there feel again and there was wealth that risen from the event. It isn't really repeating itself from what I have seen but that's why we are taught history because otherwise history will repeat itself and that isn't good. In the case of history repeating itself there would be a entirely different case and then there will be ways that people already know of fighting and it will be harder to keep sanity with the people.
