Thai women feel the need to have whiter skin, bigger eyes, thinner noses, and skinny elongated bodies. What I found to be surprising was the practices preformed to achieve these unrealistic body images. 

Having cream and collagens for whitening skin is sad because they are trying to change something that was made to make them unique and original. It is sad that they feel like they have to change a part of them that is so large like their skin. The brass coil around the neck is harsh and scary considering they start to use those coils at such a young age of 5 years old. This practice is not only unnecessary but it is also unsafe.

Overall, I feel that the beauty standards for Thailand are very extreme and some dangerous.
