I noticed that connected to this ice machine was a small unit that had a dials and controls for a freezing cycle, thermometer, and how big you wanted the ice (based off of what I saw). I'm guessing that there is a microcontroller of some sort inside of here

This laundry machine runs on input from a user, has a logic controller to know when to start and stop and has a timer.

Washing Machine

This laundry machine is very similar to the functions of the dryer. It has the input from the user, has controls for how much soap to use, and then a timer to tell when done. There is some sort of microcontroller in here to do this

I didn't really think of televisions as computers until I realized that some of them operate on their own operating systems for some advanced ones. This one has a computer that switches between inputs, and then specifically gets a display information from tamu engineering to display what you are seeing here

Star Link Hard Drive Machine

This hard drive machine helps to duplicate hard drives or "destroy" them by overwriting the information on the device with a bunch of 1s and 0s to completely get rid of any data off of it. The only way to be absolutely sure that data cannot be recovered is by physically destroying the device.
