This just shows how much Florian really can't stand Hitler - he's so angry and vengeful towards him, but also kind of scared at the same time.

    The Amber Room, which was this really famous and valuable work of art, got stolen by the Nazis and stashed away in Königsberg Castle. Then in 1944, as things were falling apart for them, they went and took the whole Amber Room apart piece by piece and hid it all down in the basement of the castle. Florian must have felt pretty proud of himself for grabbing some of that art right from under Hitler's nose!

    Florian is scared because he is not sure if the pass will work or not. He also hates Hitler, the reason why I think this is because when the solider said "Heil Hitler!" Florian replied but swallowed the bile that rose he is also sneaky and managed to convince the solider to allow him to cross the ice.

    The Amber room was famous and in the Amber room it had lots of very valuable art, however it got stolen by the Nazis and stored in the Koinsberg castle. Then in 1944 the whole Amber Room was taken apart and hidden in the castle's basement
