Although I don't have a very clear plan on what I will take in college (surely it will be a science/bio-medical major, or exercise science), I am very keen to learn more about chemistry because I really like learning  the topics!

I think the most challenging part in term 1 was definitely adapting to learning a lot of new topics in a short amount of time, though thankfully not all of the material was new to me, but of course it is still challenging, and it made me realize that all of the topics learned always relate to one another, giving me a reminder that remembering & learning every aspect in chemistry is important to understand the whole subject :D 

2. Personally, there isn't really anything to improve hehehe, because I had a lot of fun in chemistry class and it was truly an educational and knowledgable experience that made me learn a lot of things in a short amount of time. Though, if I were to make a suggestion, I would want to have more review papers in preparations for exams and other assessments :D OH and games would also be a good addition. 

3. STUDY METHODS. Since this is my first term learning in the DP curriculum, everything definitely feels more rushed and compact, meaning that I have to retain a lot of new information and make sure not a single drip of that knowledge comes out of my head in preparation for the exams & assessments. Based on my pervious study experiences in term 1, the study methods that I used were not as effective, thus in order to gain better results, I need to change the way I learn and study at home/in-class. Some examples could be; taking more notes in class, doing more review papers, frequent discussion with teachers, etc. 

4. The challenging part was probably towards the start of the term when I was still unfamiliar with several concepts/keywords (such as ionic radius, ionic charge etc.). After I understood them better, it was easier to understand the topic.

There's so much I don't know!! A lot of what I learned in middle school and year 10 was just a simplified explanation of what is actually happening. For example I used to know that valence electrons are electrons on the "outer shell".
