Quantum physics is the study of how particles behave.

Albert Einstein proposed that light is actually a stream of particles contrary to what everyone else thought. They originally thought that light was a wave but Einstein was right. They couldn't prove him wrong. It explained why light could knock out electrons in metal. This was the beginning of quantum physics.
