Conflict is a type of problem where a character is having trouble solving. There is character vs self conflict, where the character may be struggling to make a decision. Character vs character conflict, when multiple characters are having some type of disagreement or may be having some kind of problem with each other. Lastly, there is character vs world conflict when the character may be having a rough time getting through life or trying to find a way to change the world.

A conflict is a thing that happens in the story that is bad and is what the story is based on solving. There can also minor conflicts that don’t matter as much. Ex. Capricorn Anderson is trying to get used to modern society (school), but is having a hard time. Ex 2. Billy bob is getting bullied, what will he do?

Conflict is a problem in a story that makes it longer and it thickens the plot intensely. Also known as a climax, it adds tension to the story. It could be anything from a verbal fight to a murder, but anything that would really add tension, but fit seamlessly into the story works just fine.
