Upon completing his bachelor's, Rami Shmuely earned a juris doctor from St. Thomas School of Law, where he was a student ambassador and member of the American Bar Association's Law Student Division. Rami Shmuely began his legal career as an associate with Coleman & Associates, where he assisted with litigation strategies in cases involving professional malpractice, personal injury, insurance defense, and commercial litigation at the county, circuit, district, and federal court levels. He later took on additional responsibilities as an attorney with Allen Kopet & Associates and Bernheim & Dolinsky. In 2015, while serving as a managing partner with a North Miami, FL-based firm, he obtained a $1.66 million jury award for his client in a personal injury case against Publix. It was one of the largest premise liability jury award in the entire state for that year. Since 2017, Mr. Shmuely has worked as a managing partner of Chavin Mitchell Shmuely.
