Since then I have been a huge fan of music to the point I have tried to make some music. Recording a music needs a lot of technology from the laptop to the MIDI controller (a hardware or software that generates and transmits Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) data to MIDI-enabled devices, typically to trigger sounds and control parameters of an electronic music performance.). Music recording is related to ICT because it enhance learning through interaction and collaboration.

reference:

www.homestudiocorner.com

Focus on the future with clear communication. It’s true in romance, and it’s true in business: Communication is the key to success.

Customer relationship management (CRM) is not just the application of technology, but is a strategy to learn more about customers' needs and behaviours in order to develop stronger relationships with them. As such it is more of a business philosophy than a technical solution to assist in dealing with customers effectively and efficiently. Nevertheless, successful CRM relies on the use of technology. It helps businesses to gain an insight into the behaviour of their customers and modify their business operations to ensure that customers are served in the best possible way. In essence, CRM helps a business to recognise the value of its customers and to capitalise on improved customer relations. The better you understand your customers, the more responsive you can be to their needs.

Question 2: How can an accounting system be used effectively to monitor customer buying behavior patterns? To be an effective system what other system in the business should it speak with? Why?

Tracking your customers’ buying habits and looking at how those habits change over time, should be built into your weekly marketing tasks. Some businesses may need to track changing habits even more frequently. Think of a grocery store, for instance. Seasonal items are constantly changing, people are constantly shopping, and a variety of events – from a holiday to the fact that it’s Friday night – have a huge impact on what people buy.

Other businesses may not need to monitor changes as regularly. Think of a clothing store, or a furniture retailer. Since most people don’t buy clothing or furniture every day, or even every week, tracking changes on a monthly basis will suffice. However, it’s still important to look at trends in your sales each and every week, regardless of your industry.

How to Identify and Track Buying Patterns Over Time

1. Get the right tools

Make sure your data is organized and centrally located so you can get an accurate snapshot of customer buying patterns over time.

You’ll begin by opening a window in your database and creating a query.

2. Ask the right questions

The first query you create should be simple. Let’s continue with the furniture store example from above. You might ask “How many orders included a living room item over the past five years?”You’re trying to find out how many orders included a piece of living room furniture 5 years ago, 4 years ago, 3 years ago, and so on. Can you spot an upward or downward trend? When does it occur?

3. Consider customer segments

Look at which customer segments were purchasing the most living room items, and in which years. Are you noticing any patterns in people’s buying habits?

4. Look at downward and upward trends

Let’s say that in looking at purchase trends across your customer segments, you notice that living room furniture purchases went down, and bedding purchases increased.

At this point, you know a lot. You know that certain customers stopped buying living room furniture, and started to buy bedding.

Next, ask yourself:

When did the trend start to shift downward?

Who was buying in year 4 that wasn’t buying in year 5?

Does this trend apply to all customers, or only certain segments?

5. Look for patterns

Look for patterns and trends in the data. You’ll discover which customers are responsible for growth, what they’re buying, and what they’re likely to buy next.

If you notice that 44 year-old single moms stopped buying living room furniture and started buying bedding, you can compare similar purchases from the past to see what they’re likely to buy next.

Keep getting more and more detailed with your questions until you see a pattern that makes sense. Next, share the trend with your team. Once you have a discernible trend, you can make smart choices about what action to take next, and incorporate what you know into your next marketing campaign.
Reference: http://massainc.com/identify-and-track-customer-buying-patterns/

It can be difficult to adequately consider the post-implementation process when you’re so focused on finding the right ERP system and getting it into place. However, neglecting this key step can leave your teams struggling to become comfortable with the software as an everyday solution. Training, as already mentioned, is a major part of ensuring this comfort with the technology. However, you shouldn’t stop there.

In most cases, an ERP system will be deployed at a small scale within a part of the organization, such as to support a specific department, to make sure it is functioning properly. The post-implementation process should involve gradually expanding use out across the entire business and optimizing the database environment. ERP deployment may feel a bit like a formality, but it can prove instrumental in maximizing the value of your new solution. Getting users fully on board and establishing a culture of continuous improvement can ensure you are getting as much value as possible from your investment.
Ensuring ERP Implementation Success As you can see, an ERP implementation project includes many moving parts. We aren’t here to give you false promises and guarantees, but we can promise that our implementation process is built around a combination of industry best practices and an organizational philosophy that emphasizes creating strong customer relationships.
