with the old elearning style (in which teachers post videos and assignments onto dx and give students a set deadline to complete them, with no live classes to speak of), students are able to learn at their own pace, allowing us to be much more productive with our time. it can also reduce the number of hours spent staring at our screens all day, giving us the opportunity to go outside and take a breath of fresh air after a stressful school day. it is also less work for teachers. i am near-certain that the situation in itself is already hard to get used to, especially with their workload, but live classes are not only ineffective but also just straight-up unnecessary. in this case, the pros of bringing back the old way of elearning much outweigh the cons, and i'm almost sure the majority of the student body agrees with me.

I think teachers that teach the same subject should discuss and decide their expectations to be the same. The rubrics used are so vague (How are we supposed to differentiate [well explained] and [sophisticated explanation]). When I get grades for that kind of assignment, I forget what I submitted or what this assignment was, so it doesn't help me at all. Also, lots of assignments are related to each other and builds up on an idea. However, when we don't get grade and feedback for a month, that means if we misunderstand or have a mistake, it wouldn't be picked up and fixed until I submit all the related work with the wrong information. 
The reason that people need feedback is to get checked by someone else and edit/change things that they can do better on the next assignment.
