They will feel like they are listened to and respected which will allow them to want to play and explore new things which supports their learning as they will have access to new activities and opportunities.  

Language and social: 
They will feel more at ease and be willing to talk to you and others. If there was a display on their language this will make them want to talk about their language with other children as well as with the staff.  

Emotional:
Helps with their emotional development from your child having a positive self esteem from being acknowledged and appreciated for their first language.

This booklet is in english as well as German to support you and your child's language so that you can understand what will happen as well as being in english to support your child's development of english. this allows them to see the words written in english to help them learn to pronounce simple words when they are capable of doing so. This booklet respects their home language as it is in two languages so the child and their family can read and understand what it says for them to be aware of the induction process that will be carried out.

Another stages includes children speaking simple phrases or using sentences. They will also ask questions. A treasure hunt could be implemented during outdoor play as this encourages children to ask questions about the environment and speak to other children about what they have found and what they know. 

There is also a stage where children speak in one- or two-word phrases. and can also use short language chunks that have been memorized. activities that could be implemented in the routine could be flashcards for younger children during a literacy lesson as these help children see the picture and begin to identify the word that goes with that picture. For the older children we will provide literacy lessons where children can fill in missing gaps in sentences with words they think fit, this helps children learn words in English.

It supports their intellectual development as story time allows the children to use their imaginations to guess the ending of stories as well as use and improve their memory skills from reading the story regularly, this helps them to know what will happen when they read it next. 

This routine helps children's language development as it provides opportunities for language such as during the welcoming and goodbye period as well as the adult speaking to the children during activities that the adult leads and also through activities that the children choose to play with, this routine allows communication between adults and children throughout the day. 

Supports their emotional development as they get to choose what they want to play with which allows them to feel valued and independent from having activities and resources available for all the children to use. 

This routine supports children's social development as they have opportunities to chat to other children as well as the adults for example during meal times children sit together so this allows them to communicate.

Eine der Stufen umfasst die Verwendung von Gesten, so dass wir stellen sicher, bieten Aktivitäten, wo das Kind kann Gesten zum Beispiel während der Geschichte oder Song-Zeit dies wird dann passen in unsere Routine.
