It was celebrated for the first time in 1967. It aims to highlight the importance of literacy to individuals, communities & societies.         “Literacy is the right of each and every individual to receive high-quality instruction as a part of their education.”

It's the right of every individual to attain literacy. Dear students let us not forget that we have access to a range of educational resources while there are so many who don't.

Let us in our own little ways promote the campaign, “Literacy for All”, as this will open doors for the underprivileged so that no one is left behind. Let's spread  knowledge and strive to make society literate

         “Literacy is not a luxury it is a right and a responsibility.”
