There is content differentiation, process differentiation, ect. Lots of definitions and categories but not always enough modeling of how it works.

its difficult to do when you have so many students in the classroom. With 35+ how to gauge each student's rigor level. 

classroom management is best when the students are not in groups. Once  they are in groups, the teacher's alertness level has to increase drastically.
