In Term 1, I created a presentation based on a movie I liked. I chose Harry Potter and I wrote about the evolution of the Harry Potter films. I created details about each film and created a timeline. I used all the features of powerpoint such as slide master and displayed my creative skills(ACP) by using many other like an action buttons, slide transitions, animations and hyperlinks.

ICT

In term 3, I did my final EOY project. I have included everything I have learnt thought the year in ICT like presentation, document and spreadsheets and I showcased this by creating an event I want to host in school. I used my ACP skills, linking. I linked my ICT skills for powerpoint and spreadsheets in planning my event in detail. I also used hardworking(VAA) as I worked on it in school and at home as well. I put a lot of effort into making it look appealing and making sure I have used everything I know in my final project

Physics

This year in Physics has been a great mix of learning and discovery. We've explored key topics like the Particle Model, where we learned how particles behave in solids, liquids, and gases, and how changes in temperature and pressure affect them. In the Energy topic, we covered different types of energy, energy transfers, efficiency, and conservation, which helped us understand how energy powers everything around us. Finally, in Electricity, we studied circuits, current, voltage, resistance, and how electrical components work. These topics helped build a strong foundation in Physics and showed how science connects to real life. I especially enjoyed electricity because I could LINK real life situations to the things I learn in electricity.

Biology

This year in Biology has been really interesting and packed with useful knowledge. We started with the topic of Cells, where we learned about the structure and function of animal and plant cells, as well as microscopes and cell division. Then we moved on to Organisation, which focused on how organs and organ systems work together, like the digestive and circulatory systems. Finally, in Infection and Response, we studied how pathogens cause disease, how our immune system defends us, and how vaccines and antibiotics help us fight illness. These topics helped me understand the human body in depth and it was fascinating! I had also dissected a sheep heart in term 2 and it was interesting to compare the parts of to the heart to a human heart. I used ANALSYING and LINKING for this practical.

Chemistry

This year in Chemistry has been both challenging and exciting as we explored a variety of important topics. We started with Atomic Structure and the Periodic Table, learning about the structure of atoms, subatomic particles, and how elements are arranged based on their properties. In Structure and Bonding, we studied how atoms join together through ionic, covalent, and metallic bonds, and how these affect the properties of substances. Chemical Changes introduced us to reactions like neutralisation, displacement, and electrolysis. Finally, in Organic Chemistry, we learned about carbon-based compounds like alkanes and alkenes, and their reactions. I found chemistry hard this year but I overcame those struggle by being RESILIENT.

Business Project

This year in term 1, I had worked on a project of making my own business. I had made a Photo Booth where I took pictures of students with friends or teachers with a instax camera. I let them use backdrops and props of their choice. I had also given them a variety of decorations to use on their picture and make it personalized according to the customer. Although my business was good, I had a lot of competition as well. Unfortunately this led to a loss but know I can learn from my mistakes and I displayed META COGNITION because I analyzed my mistakes.

Middle East

This year, I had competed in the Middle East and I had entered for teams and quads. I had displayed HARD WORKING skills by practicing frequently and repetitively to do my best in the competition. I am super grateful to my coaches, my teammates, Ms Barry and our amazing ms Tate. The Middle East was a really fun and amazing opportunity to take my dancing to another level. Adrenaline Zenith had gotten first place and I was really proud!! My quad also got 4th place which was really surprising as I had entered from the under 18 category. I was overjoyed and i'm grateful that I could participate in the Middle East this year.

COCO-COLA ARENA

I'm incredibly grateful that I could perform in CC arena for my last performance for this year. I really enjoyed performing in front of everyone and performing with my amazing teammates. It was truly an experience and I had loads of fun. I also got to see some of the players and watch the game. Performing at such a high-level venue showed me what I’m capable of, and it has motivated me to keep improving and aim even higher in the future.t pushed me to perform with more confidence and energy in front of a huge audience!

This year, I learned a lot of new vocabulary and improved my reading and sentence structures related to transportation and cinema. I used my communication skills (ACP) during group discussions and role-plays, where I confidently shared ideas about different modes of transport. I also improved my research skills (ACP) by exploring how cinema has developed in the Arab world. Throughout the unit, I demonstrated collaboration (VAA) by working respectfully with my classmates and supporting others in group tasks. I also showed responsibility (VAA) by staying on task and completing my work on time. I’m proud of my progress in Arabic speaking and writing this term.

This year in Economics, I learned about important concepts such as demand and supply, opportunity cost, scarcity and how markets work. I used my research skills (ACP) to gather real-world examples, such as how fuel prices change based on global events. I also developed my critical thinking (ACP) by analysing graphs and making connections between economic theory and current news. Throughout the unit, I showed curiosity (VAA) by asking questions and engaging in class discussions to deepen my understanding. Studying Economics has helped me see how decisions are made in the real world and improved my ability to think logically and analytically. I also got full marks in my CFU last term.

This year in Maths, I focused on key topics such as the quadratic formula and algebra. I used my thinking skills (ACP) to solve complex quadratic equations and simplify algebraic expressions. Throughout the year, I demonstrated perseverance (VAA) by working through challenging problems and learning from my mistakes. These topics have strengthened my confidence in solving algebraic problems and improved my overall problem-solving abilities. I also got full marks in my maths term 2 test and term 3 paper 2.

Descriptive writing both drafts

In term2, I started my first descriptive writing which is part of the English coursework. For my first draft, I got 16/25 so I worked harder(HARD WORKING) for my second draft and I got 19/25. I am happy with my improvement and I learnt from my mistakes. I will aim to work harder next year and get full marks.

Narrative writing both drafts

in term3, I started my first narrative writing coursework. For my first narrative writing draft, I got 17/25. I had made small changes and achieved a 18/25 for my second draft. I also worked on creativity (VAA) by developing interesting characters and using descriptive language to bring scenes to life. I had linked my work from term2 and used it in term 3 to achieve the best grades. I think I could do better but I am happy with his score as well.
