,A challenge that can be faced in our schools today is student privacy. Educause says higher education institutions need to ensure they are protecting the privacy of students when they are online, (Educause, 2020, p. 9). The same goes for primary and secondary schools. There are many apps or online programs that can be used to supplement student learning. However, most websites require that students log in with an email address or password. This information can be connected to the students personal information. Our district faced this same challenge in previous years. In order to help solve it we now use Clever.com as a single sign on system. The students use this site to log onto any other sites they need. If a website cannot be added to Clever, we cannot use it in the classroom.
