Verbal Irony- happened when the persons intentions are the opposite of what they actually meant. 
Ex- when it's a persons birthday and I tell them "Happy Holidays"

Situational Irony- when the result is the opposite from what you expected it to be 
Ex- Me teaching the class instead of Mrs.Nordberg

Dramatic Irony- when a person knows a big part of important information that the other person doesn't
