Stacey Miguel always acts funny, she says she’s on a diet and never wants to eat junk food and have fun with her friends. The truth is she has diabetes. The problem is her parents don’t want people to know and they take her to doctors all across the United States, (including a holistic doctor.) Its hard for Stacey and it upsets her that her parents won’t let her choose her own doctor. Stacey had moved from NY in the last year and loves her new friends, she never told anyone in NY about her disease, so her friends there treated her weird because they knew something was up. Her old best friend Laine (that she never told) got in a fight with Stacey right before Staceys family moved and they haven’t talked since. When Staceys parents make her go back to NY for a visit for another new doctor her parents surprise her with staying at Laines house. Stacey was mad but they made up and became close again. The Babysitters Club caught a babysitter from the Babysitters Agency (a agency that copied the BSC with older kids) not paying attention to Jamie (a kid they babysit for), was playing in the street. Jamie told them that they smoke in there house and bring there boyfriends over. The BSC told Jamie’s mom about everything and she told her friends and the whole agency ran out of business.
