This is what is an appalling sociological doctrine. The modern conceptualization of feminism imposes a lie: that men and women have the same talents, proclivities and desires; and consequently, any discrepancies in their professional paths are due to sexism enforced by the direct force of legislation and law. Feminism has made people less free. Generally speaking, feminism denigrates femininity, working to replace women’s traditional commitments. WITH THAT SAID, I am, in the traditional sense, a feminist. I believe in the equal treatment of men and women because we were created equally in the eye of our mutual Creator.

Although, I do believe that the body is built and made to suit being a woman and a man. So women do have the more maternal instinct, and that's okay. Men are built to be more strong, so them having more masculine jobs does make sense too. I am a feminist, but I also believe that some things, especially in Judaism, are meant to be mainly for men and mainly for women. Like davening 3 times a day with a minyan is an obligation for only men, so why would a women want to put more work on herself when it's not obligated. In the Jewish community women have a huge role. for example being an eshet chili or even the mitzvah of Rosh Chodesh. women have a huge impact on judaism although some may say there is some sexism in the jewish community. This does have some reason one way I personally saw this was while learning Jewish History I learned that jewish women had roles in the time of the kehillot and some of those roles where taking care of their families, this lead to many Jewish women not being educated because they where not allowed to due to gender roles in their society. I believe in equality for men and women in all areas but there is no denying that there are certain jobs that men would be better at because of the biological and genetic makeup of the corresponding sex. Ex. A man would be a better construction worker than a women. Judaism, from a surface level perspective, might seem gender biased to the naked eye but Hashem created roles that women would be better at because of their nature. Statistically only 10% of murderers in the US are women, which proves that women are less susceptible to violence and would biologically be better as a caretaker, a mother, a cook, a homemaker, etc...(basic woman lead roles). Hashem knows how we would thrive as a society and thats why the torah entails the details it does. In Judaism I think that it is a complicated topic because sometimes I feel as if it a man run religion in which men make the laws and are the ones who do most of the actions. On the other hand, there is also a very beautiful part of being a women in Judaism where they are also looked at as something beautiful. Women are constantly put down by stereotypes and ideals that most could never live up too. We judged simply because we are woman and people don't even realize that they are doing it. It's the small things that you don't notice but it's there. you shouldn't be denied anything because fo your gender, thats not something that you choose. Why should woman be put down simply because thats how they were born. while i don't always follow the main feminist cause I do have a strong belief in equality and thats what basic feminism stands for. Not that women need more to better, but rather that we shouldn't be looked at any differently. In Judaism you find that it depends on the person. Diffrent people view women differently. It's hard when it gets to religion because women have very strong backgrounds of being in the home, however, if you look you see a lot of empowering things for women in Judaism.
