Rachel was schooled from kindergarten to tenth at the private school made by her church. The curriculum was based on the bible, and the girls were focused more on music and culinary arts. She dropped out at tenth grade and graduated “early” to marry Theodore Alexander Cunningham.

Rachel is the founder of Savannah’s public school’s district’s “Mothers Against Indoctrination” group. Her children were enrolled in a public elementary school as her church’s school was shut down a few years after she graduated.

Rachel was also a strong contributer to Georgia’s Heartbeat Bill, which went to effect July 20, 2022.
