         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Limited Context</strong>: </p><ul><li><p>It may not capture the full picture of a child, their behaviors, or the extent of skills he or she has not fully demonstrated.     </p></li></ul><p><strong>Simplification</strong>: </p><ul><li><p>The very structure of a checklist may be a bit oversimplify making it difficult to capture all of the child's abilities.  </p></li></ul><p><strong>Rigidity</strong>: </p><ul><li><p>There may be no accommodations of learners needs, characteristics, or learning styles.    </p></li></ul><p><strong>Subjectivity</strong>: </p><ul><li><p>While assessments are important, numerical ratings should be used, otherwise there may be subjectivity that appears within the observation and analysis, even if the criteria is clear and well established.     </p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong><mark>Construction:</mark></strong></p><ol><li><p>Define Purpose:</p><ul><li><p>Before diagnosis, it will also be useful to clearly define the behaviors or skills being tested.</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Develop Scale:</p><ul><li><p>Develop a purpose (e.g., frequency, proficiency, or agreement).</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Write Items:</p><ul><li><p>For each behavior or skill create measurable. precise and specific statements.  </p></li></ul></li><li><p>Organize Format:</p><ul><li><p>Categorize similar behaviors into the same area or section.  </p></li></ul></li></ol><p><strong><mark>Construction:</mark></strong></p><ol><li><p>Observe:</p><ul><li><p>Take systematic notes and records of the child with questions overtime.       </p></li></ul></li><li><p>Rate:</p><ul><li><p>Assign proper ratings depending on behaviors which were observed.  </p></li></ul></li><li><p>Analyze: </p><ul><li><p>Search for these patterns or even tendencies in the ratings. </p></li></ul></li><li><p>Plan:  </p><ul><li><p>The results should be used for the development of the individual's learning plan, as well as the necessary interventions. </p></li></ul></li><li><p>Communicate:</p><ul><li><p>Discuss the results with the parents and other teachers in order to contribute to the child's development. </p><p>                                     </p></li></ul></li></ol>]]></description>
