1. Choose one of two ways to contribute:

   • Add a new level of organization (e.g., cell, tissue, etc)

   • Explain the connection between two existing levels

     
     

2. For adding a new level:

   • Post in the “Levels” section

   • Include a clear description of the level, and number it from 1-6

     
     

3. For explaining connections:

   • Post in the “Connections” section

   • Clearly state which two levels you’re connecting

   • Explain how the lower level builds into the higher level

     
     

4. Review others’ posts to ensure we don’t duplicate levels and build a comprehensive concept map.

The digestive system, made up of organs like the stomach and intestines, works together to help the organism (like a human) digest food and absorb nutrients.

Organ systems - group of organs that worked together to perform a specific function for the organism or what we called the body.
