-Henry II regained the Crown lands by revoking the royal grants and offices.

Once Henry II had consolidated his holding, he turned his attention to administration and judicial reform and created the English "COMMON LAW". 
The Common Law was a set of rules and obligations everyone had to follow in which judges selected the best for local laws and customs and applied them to the whole realm.
