This quote inspired us to express ,explore, ask, question and be curious.
If you shut your mouth and don't utter a single word, how would one ever answer your queries? How would those doubts ever be resolved? And that means you wouldn't understand something unless and until you grab the courage to ask.
Asking is necessary to find out. Expressing yourself is very important to learn more and always grow.
Once you get out of the comfort zone is when the information gets revealed and solves all the mysteries.
Your mind too feels confident and relaxed after knowing the exact truth.
Therefore this is one of my favourite quotes which always motivated me and increased my self esteem.

We can see that in a lot of cases in our world. Countries or groups think that every time something is done to them, they have to do it back. One example I can think of is our own political parties.
An approach like this tends to increase enmity and ill feeling towards each other among all people. A person may cause some harm to another unintentionally and perhaps without any fault on his or her part. It is also possible that an individual who is seen as the perpetrator of the harm has not caused it at all.
We say that if we try to take an eye of a person or his near or dear one because he or she has caused me or my near and dear one to loose an eye, the other person will react in similar manner and this will start a chain reaction leading to people from both the warring factions becoming blind. And if this principle is adopted by all the people in the world the entire world will become blind.
This is one of my favorite quotes, quoted by Mahatma Gandhi as this makes me believe in humanity.

This quote made me realise that to visualise the change in the society, it must start with you.
We aspire to make amends in the society, but don't do anything to materialise it.
Talking of providing women with equal opportunities, and on the other hand, ill-treating your wife, mother, sister or any other female is just a pretense. We must give respect and opportunities to women around us and then inspire people to bring the same change in them.
I just want to end saying that first bring change in yourself, set a benchmark for others and see the world adapting to the change initiated by you.
This is one of my favourite quotes which makes me believe that change starts from within...

FORGIVENESS IS AN ATTRIBUTE OF THE STRONG. These lines really touched me and I can relate to them. We might say that we should just forgive and end the situation. But it's really hard when the time comes to forgive. We get so mad when somebody does something to us and we want to do it to them (or something worse) so that they learn a lesson. But it is not our job to teach them. I think that they will learn a lot more if we forgive them and love them instead of showing them how wrong they were by doing the same thing to to them since two wrongs DO NOT make a right. But if we forgive, it will be much better. Forgiving actually isn't very hard if you think on these lines. It has made much easier for me to forgive. But the ones who are able to master this (especially those who forgive when they don't think this way) are definitely strong. The weak ones cannot swallow their pride and just let it go. After all, we all make mistakes. The important thing is to learn and move on. Forgiveness helps the culprit understand this better than revenge could. It's basically hard for everyone but some shut their minds to the idea of forgiveness as if they're too afraid to try it. These are the ones who Gandhiji called weak as this makes it really hard to get on in life. That is why forgiveness is an attribute of the strong. All this was said in just this sentence and it really touched me to see how Gandhiji was indeed a very compassionate and forgiving person. This is why I really like this quote.

Leaving the grudge we hold will also help us stay away from hatered and spread love instead. It explains me how we can tackle with many life problmes in a simple way instead of hating someone our whole life for that one thing they did to us. Moving on is great for everyone. It teaches me how we can move and continue living our lives together with happiness.

For example, if a girl conforms to the patriarchal belief that women are inferior to men then she would never think of competing and achieve excellence in public life and her words would reflect a lack of confidence. In her actions, she would remain dependent on others and become habitual to accept rather than scrutinize whatever her family says. Submissiveness would become her idolized value. And her destiny would be in leaving her talents to dormancy and remain feeling insignificant in life.
On the contrary, if the girl believes in gender equality, her thoughts will be around how to compete and nurture her capabilities. Her words would then reflect confidence and her actions courage to take risks. Eventually, she would become habitual to ignore discouragements and move as per her instincts. She’ll be identified with the values of perseverance and integrity and in the long run, she would excel and be contended at the fact that she has done justice to her potentials.
Thus a positive belief can change one’s approach to life and thereby the destiny.

I like this quote as it stresses upon the value of forgiveness. People often commit mistakes, but to hang on to the grudge in the longer run is not appreciable.
We must be acceptable of others and always bear in mind that each individual has their own strength and weakness.
To forgive and to forget is the key to people's happiness!

They either want to go on and on about all their problems or want to shoot down all your dreams by telling you how you can't do this or that, or shouldn't be doing this or that.

In the end, it is all the same - they have drained your positive energy and walked through your mind with their "dirty feet," more commonly known as negative energy.

Most of us allow this to happen under the assumption that we are just being nice, but we shouldn't do this. We have to look after our own welfare first.

This means we have to take care of our mental, emotional, and spiritual self, and not let someone destroy our positive energy or mental peace.

We would not allow someone to come in and add arsenic to our family meal; in the same way, we shouldn't let them poison our mind or spirit with their poisonous energy.

It teaches me that things can also be done gently, instead of showing violence. Maybe you can achieve more things by a humble approach than you will be able to with the aggressive approach.
