In this first week of Pre-sessional course,I was learned how to write a argument essay and the tense of English grammar etc to improve our English skills.I thought I am enjoy in this course because UCA takes really unique and helpful ways to help students build up English skills, also Jamie is a humorous tutor. It wasn't as easy as I thought, because we have to take many assessment in the limited time. I realize that the problem lies in less confidence and limited vocabulary. To solve this problem,I'll try to remember more vocabularies and using the Cambridge dictionary which was recommended by my tutor.

In this session, I watched a few video about bamboo and learned many features of it. I was wondering how sustainable of bamboo, because I have never be conscious that bamboo has some negatives impact of environmental until the answers came as a shock for me.
First of all, bamboo has many aspect of advantages. For example, extremely versatile, fastest growing, highly flexible etc, also these advantages are answering why bamboo is sustainable, but when we investigating whether a particular bamboo product is sustainable also need to consider many different aspects. For instance, while most bamboo fabrics on the market are a form of rayon where the manufacturing process is intensive and involves harmful chemicals. The highly toxic is bad for worker's health.
On the other hands, bamboo is softness, fitness and drapes when it using in the fashion or garments. Overall, all this informations are useful to me because it is make me think that how would I use it to relate with fashion industry and considering how could I use bamboo as a sustainable material from now on.
