Graduating from junior high was a huge deal for me because it felt like I was moving on to something bigger and more exciting. I had spent so many years in junior high learning new things, making friends, and figuring out who I was. So, graduating felt like I was ready to take on high school and all the new challenges that come with it.

Going into HS (August 7, 2024)

Entering high school was really important to me because it is one of the last places you go before finally achieving ur goals and reaching your dreams. It's exciting because there's new opportunities, people, and things to learn. You also make new friends, and handle bigger responsibilities. It’s a big change, but also a chance to grow and do more cool stuff, which is why I think this is an important part of 2024 for me.

Getting honor roll the whole year everytime. (August 7 2023-May23, 2024)

Getting on the honor roll was important for me because it showed that all the hard work I put into my classes really paid off. It wasn’t just about getting good grades—it was about proving to myself that I could handle challenges and succeed. I felt proud because I knew I had stayed focused and worked hard, even when things were tough. Being on the honor roll also made me feel more confident in my abilities, like I was capable of achieving even more in the future. It gave me a sort of hope and sense of accomplishment that I could share with my family and friends, who were always supportive and encouraged me to do my best. It was also really important to me because it would mean that I had some sort of potential in achieving my goals.

Joining the Drumline (July, 2024)

Joining the drum line was really important to me because it gave me a chance to be part of something bigger than myself. I always loved music, but being in the drum line taught me teamwork and discipline. It’s not just about playing a drum, it’s about working together with others to create something amazing. We all have to stay in sync, follow the rhythm, and support each other. It’s also a way to express myself and show my passion for music. Being in the drum line has helped me build confidence, make new friends, and feel like I’m part of a family.

Finishing Marching Season (October-November 2024)

Finishing the marching band season is important because it shows teamwork, commitment, and responsibility. When everyone works together until the end, the group performs better and feels proud of what they've achieved. It also helps build friendships and teaches you to push through challenges. Plus, if the season isn't finished, all the hard work and practice wouldn't pay off, and you wouldn’t get to perform at the final games or events. Finishing strong is what makes all the effort worth it. That is why I chose to talk about finishing marching season as an accomplishment.
