Sam's environement affects his behaviors. While his behavior is effected by his autism. But his behaviors and personal factor also effect the environement and behaviors of others. It is all interwined. Sam is not only affected by outisde circumstances but he affects them as well. Especially when it comes to his family.

The first season of Atypical did very well and had good ratings. The lack of autistic actors and producers upset those who are autistic or are close to those who with it.

In Atypical Sam has a job which is a positive reprensentation of someone with autism. They should not be discriminated against and are very capable of living normal lives. This show is looking to show you the struggles of autism but also how it does not completely consume a person being. It just part of who they are and not should not be stigmatized.
