While reading the story, I read about the goddess of beauty helping Magnus in his quest. This surprises me the reader and Magnus. This surprises everyone because most of the gods care more about themselves more than anyone else. They make people pay a large price for advice. This makes me ask myself why the character did that. This leads me to believe that she did it out of fear for herself and everyone else. If Magnus doesn't succeed then doomsday will come to everyone and the gods could possibly be destroyed. This makes sense because if doomsday comes then the goddess would be able to relax and enjoy life.

This image creates a sense of fear and evil just like the hairy man would. This image is what the hairy man could look like. It is important to get a visual when the story doesn't show one. The creature in the picture is hairy and threatening just like the hairy man. It gives the reader something terrifying to picture when they are reading. It helps them better understand what might being going through Wiley's mind when he sees the hairy man.

While I was reading I saw an Aha-moment signpost. Magnus finally realized what his super powerful was meant for when he was trying to battle the wolf without cutting his chains. This aha-moment changed the whole world because if Magnus had died and Surt had got the word then Ragnarok would´ve started and the world would´ve ended. This changes things by delaying it bor who knows how long.

While I was reading, I noticed a contrasts and contradictions signpost. Magnus meets his dad who is destined to be slain soon. Magnus expects him to be scared and a little crazy but he is very calm and kind of happy. This makes me and Magnus wonder why he is doing that. This then leads to an aha-moment when Magnus realizes that its been years since Frey learned his fate. Magnus then figures out that Frey has accepted his fate. This makes sense because Frey will still need to play an important part in Ragnarok. He has got over it and is going to make the most of the rest of his life.

While I was reading I read a words of the wiser signposts. Frey who is a god talks to Magnus about being accepting and making the most of what you have. Frey has known for thousands of years that he is going to die at Ragnarok. Frey has learned to accept that fate and make the most of his remaining time however much he has. Magnus learns the life lesson of make the most of your time and cherish it. This will affect Magnus by making him use his time wisely. This could result in Magnus being happier in the time he has.
