         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Instructional Activity: </strong>The instructor will then pull up a PowerPoint presentation that goes over some main developmental moments for characters in the novel. Students will be able to take notes and add to their graphic organizers during the lecture. After the PowerPoint presentation, students will be asked to get into groups with other students who chose the same character, and be given two to three minutes to discuss some similar and different things that they wrote. At the end of the two to three minutes, each group will be asked to give a brief description of what they wrote about their selected character to the rest of the class and the teacher.</p><p><strong>Learning Objective:</strong> Students will be able to identify a character of their choice and collaborate with other students to ensure that they have filled out their graphic organizers with accurate information.</p>]]></description>
