My cousins and I invented a game where we would slide down the stairs on a cardboard box into a pile of pillows.
The rules were:
1) only one person at a time
2) you had to keep your feet up
3) you had to hold the sides of the cardboard

I'm not sure how safe it was or if parents today would let kids do this. I remember it being fun and we would do this for hours.

I found this picture online and it was something like this.

I went to a school in Mexico that was quite small but we were able to have lot of space to move.
There where two different groups the ones who seek and the ones who hid. This was done because most of the time there were over 30 kids playing.
The rules:
1)The seekers must count to 30 very slow
2) Those who where found first the next round were the going to seek the others.
2) As we are finding people they are going to help find people as this can be way faster as 30 people were hard to find.

As schools have gates and are well protected I am sure that is safe but the children should have perimeters on where they could play as some of the schools in the US are bigger.

The picture is very similar but there where more trees and nature stuff as well as smaller classroom all over the space. This picture is from the internet.

As a child tag was my favorite game I would play with my friends at school during snack or lunch time. Tag is a running game. The rules of the game:

1.) Choose someone to be the tagger

2.) The tagger has to give the runners ten seconds to run then the tagger can start running

3.) If the tagger tags someone in the game then that person becomes the new tagger

I think it was a safe game since we would play the game during school. The only thing is you had to be careful to not fall on the ground since it was concrete. I remember tag being a really fun game.
